Her experience covers all facets of the business - client acquisition, setting up call centers for outbound and inbound processes for telecom and financial services clients, and managing operations. She has grown Andromeda organically from 10 seats in 2000, to ~5000 seats across India. ![]() Michael OctomanMr. Octoman is a Director of Navis and an Investment Committee member. Mr. Octoman joined Navis in 2000. Prior to joining Navis, Mr. Octoman was a senior manager with Pricewaterhouse Coopers for eight years, the last four of which were spent in emerging markets, with a primary focus on capital market transactions and financial due diligence specializing in energy, telecommunications and manufacturing. From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Octoman worked for KPMG in Australia and Canada in Assurance and Business Advisory Services. Mr. Octoman is a lifetime resident of Asia, having been raised and educated in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from the University of South Australia and is an Australian qualified Chartered Accountant. ![]() Bharat SarmaBharat Sarma is an Investment Director at Navis, and focuses on leading India investments and portfolio companies. Prior to Navis, Bharat has nearly 15 years of experience across management consulting, corporate and investing roles. He was an Investment Director with Axiom Asia Private Capital leading and closing investment opportunities in India and Australia. He had two stints in management consulting as part of the senior team at Bain & Company, New York and at Booz Allen Hamilton in Mumbai and New York. He advised clients in private equity, financial services, and telecom industries, on business strategy, growth opportunities, and M&A. Bharat was a Vice President with GE Capital in New York and New Delhi, with revenue responsibility leading deals in the banking and insurance sector. Bharat holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B.Tech., Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. |
